The corner led Ereira FC's Domingos Alves to fire away a dangerous shot which Almiro Gaspar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 28th minute, Carlos Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Olívio Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perre FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ereira FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Perre FC's Olívio Moura got a free kick in the 29th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Valadão was the one to do the kick off. Filipe Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
