After 11 minutes of play, Broas's Jairo Lopes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Máximo Eanes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute Fabiano Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Eanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Filhos Brandão F.C.'s Adelino Ornelas got a free kick in the 16th minute. Mário Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Eiró in the 26th minute of the match. Mário Loureiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Valente in the 27th minute. With his leg Mário Loureiro managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Filhos Brandão F.C.'s Tomás Valente fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabiano Monteiro to make the kick off. Fabiano Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Máximo Eanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filhos Brandão F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Broas for a fine match.
