Ricardo Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! Catarino Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Marques having to interfere. Jacinto Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ricardo Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Manuel Martins fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rapa FC's protests and gave Manuel Martins a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rapa FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Manuel Martins hit a great ball. Júlio Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Francisco Martins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Assunção in the 30th minute. When Jorge Assunção came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Rapa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Assunção couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Marques having to interfere. Catarino Leal scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Marques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half SC Terreiro were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Francisco Martins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gil Amorim went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Francisco Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Jorge Assunção struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Francisco Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rapa FC. Francisco Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Amorim in the 67th minute of the match. Alexandre Neves's late challenge caught a Rapa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Neves helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rapa FC booed when SC Terreiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Amorim in the 69th minute of play forced SC Terreiro's goalkeeper Francisco Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Basílio Trindade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Terreiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rapa FC the free kick. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Terreiro! In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Rapa FC. Henrique Ramos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Francisco Martins. 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gil Amorim in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Martins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, SC Terreiro's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Assunção came free, but Francisco Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rapa FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Terreiro for a fine match.
