Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duarte Pires in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Esteves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emílio Ferreira charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emílio Ferreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emílio Ferreira hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Gabriel Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Nogueira having to interfere. Gabriel Delgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Óscar Nogueira having to make a save. Alexandre Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Pires in the 19th minute of play. Cláudio Campos in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Óscar Nogueira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Mariano Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the SC Torrinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Baptista couldn't finish the play. If Gabriel Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Tavares during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Fernando Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Gabriel Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Óscar Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duarte Pires to make the kick off. Óscar Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Delgado in the 60th minute of the match. During the 60th minute of the match Fernando Tavares completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fernando Tavares a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to SC Torrinhas getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Fernando Tavares hit a great ball. Cláudio Campos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to SC Torrinhas getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sérgio Cardoso hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Gabriel Delgado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Óscar Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cláudio Campos in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Óscar Nogueira saved SC Torrinhas from getting behind. Alexandre Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Óscar Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Óscar Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Esteves having to interfere. When Óscar Ferro fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Torrinhas's protests and gave Óscar Ferro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, SC Torrinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar Ferro to maneuver through the defense. After 81 minutes of play SC Torrinhas's Óscar Ferro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to SC Torrinhas getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Óscar Ferro hit a great ball. Cláudio Campos struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Óscar Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rascoia. Mariano Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Esteves having to interfere.
