Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Filipe Sousa took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Telhadas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Baptista came free, but Henrique Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Telhadas FC's zone, Duarte Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Luz came out of the goal and Duarte Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariano Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Filipe Sousa, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 15 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Óscar Nogueira was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Mariano Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrique Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Filipe Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 27 minutes into the match, SC Torrinhas's Filipe Coimbra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 30 minutes into the game, Fernando Tavares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Torrinhas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Telhadas FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Torrinhas's Óscar Ferro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Jorge Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 51st minute, Nuno Viegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Albertino Aleixo fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Telhadas FC's protests and gave Albertino Aleixo a yellow card for diving instead.
