Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Guedieiros FC's Ricardo Andrade started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernando Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th match minute, Guedieiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Santos to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Guerreiro in the 8th minute of play. If Fábio Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliveira Ferreira hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Guedieiros FC's Fernando Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Assis in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Guedieiros FC's Ricardo Andrade ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sérgio Branco. Sérgio Branco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Fábio Domingues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Sérgio Branco made a huge save. In the 28th minute of the match, Ricardo Andrade tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sérgio Branco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 29th minute, Gustavo Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Guedieiros FC's zone, Jorge Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Silva came out of the goal and Jorge Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Ricardo Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Branco having to interfere. In the 43rd minute of the match Guedieiros FC got a corner. SC Goias's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oliveira Ferreira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Guedieiros FC's Ricardo Andrade getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Sérgio Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SC Goias's Jorge Mota got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Tiago Guerreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Goias's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Guerreiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Mota succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 71st playminute. Ricardo Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Branco having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, SC Goias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Fontes to maneuver through the defense. Oliveira Ferreira shot a long shot in the 91st minute and a light blocked Sérgio Branco hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-1.
