Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when André Silva kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heitor Torres in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Viegas saved Alvarenga from getting behind. André Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Viegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Basílio Moutinho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristiano Amaro came out and tried to block the shot, but Basílio Moutinho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute, André Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristiano Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heitor Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Viegas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. If Basílio Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basílio Moutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Cristiano Amaro made a huge save. André Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Amaro having to interfere. Joaquim Amaral hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Heitor Torres to strike the kick off in the second half. Augusto Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Fernando Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvarenga's Fernando Viegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Alvarenga from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heitor Torres in the 72nd minute of play forced Alvarenga's goalkeeper Fernando Viegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If André Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Amaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cristelo's zone, Basílio Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Amaro came out of the goal and Basílio Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
