Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alexandre Carvalho made the kick off which started today's match. Rui Henriques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Raul Fernandes made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pousada's zone, Heitor Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Fernandes came out of the goal and Heitor Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Alexandre Carvalho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Salto's Cristóvão Castro. Cristóvão Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Carvalho in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristóvão Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Pires during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes Salto got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pires. Cristóvão Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Henrique Assis kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Heitor Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Salto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heitor Ramos couldn't finish the play. Henrique Assis hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Carvalho in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristóvão Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Henriques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristóvão Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After 38 minutes, Marco Lopes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salto and the SC Pousada players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Salto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Lopes to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute Heitor Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes SC Pousada got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Sousa. Rui Henriques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Raul Fernandes made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, SC Pousada's goal looked a bit too open when Heitor Ramos came free, but Raul Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristóvão Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Henriques in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Heitor Ramos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Américo Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Castro having to interfere. Alexandre Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Cristóvão Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Salto getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Marco Lopes hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Rui Henriques notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SC Pousada's Raul Fernandes. Raul Fernandes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute Rui Henriques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes of play Salto's Jaime Pires was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 77th minute, Jaime Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Cristóvão Castro managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when SC Pousada's João Henriques fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 83rd minute Alexandre Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salto's Cristóvão Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Carvalho in the 89th minute of play. João Henriques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Paiva during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rui Henriques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salto were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Pousada for a fine match.
