Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Diamantino Faro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Cláudio Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Garcia in the 3rd minute of the match. If Miguel Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Campolide FC's zone, Alexandre Jesus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Viegas came out of the goal and Alexandre Jesus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Borba struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Nuno Viegas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guimbra FC. Bruno Trindade kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Guimbra FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Borba. After a rather tough play, Guimbra FC's Cláudio Macedo got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 43rd match minute, Guimbra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Resende to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 46 minutes, Diamantino Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campolide FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Campolide FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandre Jesus to strike the kick off in the second half. Miguel Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jorge Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Matos having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Campolide FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Trindade to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Viegas having to interfere. Miguel Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jorge Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Matos having to interfere. Miguel Garcia took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Matos. Jorge Matos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Nuno Viegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Borba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diamantino Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Joaquim Borba came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Guimbra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Borba couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Jesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Campolide FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
