Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bento Ribeiro started the match with the kick off. Lucas Antunes hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Álvaro Fonseca successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ricardo Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Álvaro Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bento Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Abreu got free with Álvaro Fonseca in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Henriques during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Luz in the 15th minute of play forced SC Lobeiros's goalkeeper Álvaro Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th match minute, Brejo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Moniz to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, SC Lobeiros's David Vaz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bento Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Brejo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Ribeiro came free, but Júlio Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes Brejo FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Amaral. Bento Ribeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Macedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bento Ribeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. João Borba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, SC Lobeiros's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Luz came free, but Álvaro Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Brejo FC defense, João Borba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Macedo. The Brejo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Macedo should have stopped the shot. If Alfredo Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Luz in the 46th minute of play forced SC Lobeiros's goalkeeper Álvaro Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sebastião Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Amaral in the 54th minute of play forced SC Lobeiros's goalkeeper Álvaro Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júlio Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Henriques in the 57th minute of the match. After 60 minutes, Gil Viana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lobeiros and the Brejo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Lobeiros getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gil Viana hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, SC Lobeiros's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Faro came free, but Álvaro Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Luz in the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, SC Lobeiros's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Luz came free, but Álvaro Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Henriques hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Ricardo Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Fonseca having to interfere. Brejo FC's Sebastião Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bento Ribeiro scored 0-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Macedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Álvaro Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Abreu in the 78th minute of play. Júlio Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Borba in the 80th minute. João Borbas short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Júlio Macedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th minute of the match, Bento Ribeiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Júlio Macedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Abreu in the 93rd minute of play forced SC Lobeiros's goalkeeper Álvaro Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Álvaro Fonseca came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Brejo FC's Joaquim Amaral. But to his dismay, Joaquim Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. SC Lobeiros's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
