Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, SC Reguenga's Rogério Henriques got a free kick in the 4th minute. Afonso Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Assunção, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Paiva's late challenge caught a SC Sanceriz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. 24 minutes into the match, SC Reguenga's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Assunção came free, but Afonso Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Jorge Henriques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Paredes struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Afonso Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Sanceriz. After a rather tough play, SC Reguenga's Armindo Maia got a free kick in the 36th minute. Cristiano Matias hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Nuno Paredes sped through SC Reguenga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Afonso Vale. 46 minutes into the match, SC Sanceriz's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gueifão came free, but Albertino Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Assunção in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Tiago Gueifão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Reguenga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Carlos Assunção took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonso Vale. Afonso Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. SC Reguenga's Afonso Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Assunção in the 60th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonçalo Morais during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Albertino Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Tiago Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Albertino Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Vale having to interfere. Albertino Queirós was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Afonso Esteves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Afonso Esteves really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in SC Reguenga's zone, Carlos Assunção stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Vale came out of the goal and Carlos Assunção tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nuno Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Vale having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Carlos Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Sanceriz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Assunção was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuno Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The SC Reguenga players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Sanceriz from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
