In the 4th match minute, Redundo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Morais to maneuver through the defense. When Sebastião Viana fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redundo's protests and gave Sebastião Viana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Sebastião Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute Armindo Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Barbosa having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Óscar Lisboa got free with Alexandre Barbosa in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manuel Gonçalves charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Gonçalves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manuel Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to SC Redinha getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Alexandre Reis hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Redundo's Fernando Morais got a free kick in the 29th minute. Óscar Lisboa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Alexandre Barbosa made a huge save. In the 33rd minute of the match, Alexandre Reis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alexandre Barbosa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 39 minutes into the match, SC Redinha's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Neves came free, but Domingos Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Reis in the 41st minute of the match. Redundo's Alexandre Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Reis in the 42nd minute of play. Óscar Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Barbosa having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alexandre Reis made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, SC Redinha's Alexandre Reis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandre Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernando Morais was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 55 played minutes Redundo got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Morais. Armindo Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Domingos Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, SC Redinha's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Armindo Neves fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Armindo Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Domingues having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Óscar Lisboa in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexandre Barbosa came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Redinha's Óscar Lisboa. But to his dismay, Óscar Lisboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Armindo Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redundo's supporters rose to their feet, but Armindo Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Redundo's Alexandre Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Reis in the 79th minute of play. Óscar Lisboa struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Alexandre Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Redinha. Manuel Gonçalves hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Miguel Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Barbosa having to interfere. Óscar Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Redinha's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
