In a very dangerous position, a player in Rancosinho FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! In the 13th minute of the game, Diamantino Miranda landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Catarino Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Catarino Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Catarino Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Daniel Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gonçalves in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, João Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rancosinho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Coelheiras the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rancosinho FC's João Amorim got a free kick in the 17th minute. Hélder Figueiredos short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Afonso Ramos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hélder Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Ramos having to interfere. Afonso Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hélder Figueiredo in the 26th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Joel Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rancosinho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Rancosinho FC's Sandro Valente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Gomes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inácio Porto during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Coelheiras! In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Rancosinho FC. Manuel Cardoso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Daniel Gomes. 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gonçalves made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Hélder Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Coelheiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélder Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Rancosinho FC's zone, Fábio Guarda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Ramos came out of the goal and Fábio Guarda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélder Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gonçalves in the 62nd minute of play forced SC Coelheiras's goalkeeper Daniel Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rancosinho FC's Sandro Valente got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SC Coelheiras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Joel Gonçalves scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Gomes, making the score, 1-2. The supporters of Rancosinho FC booed when SC Coelheiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Daniel Gomes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sandro Valente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Daniel Gomes made a huge save. João Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Daniel Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Gonçalves scored 1-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Gomes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
