Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Delfim Faria started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Vítor Guarda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Daniel Araújo, passed just outside the right post. Daniel Araújo made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Vítor Guarda sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Assis hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Esteves in the 8th minute of play forced Gordos FC's goalkeeper Raul Bessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jacinto Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the SC Boialvo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Lopes couldn't finish the play. SC Boialvo's Daniel Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Faria in the 12th minute of play. Abel Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Vítor Guarda struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Daniel Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gordos FC. When Vítor Guarda came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Gordos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Guarda couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, SC Boialvo's João Leal got a free kick in the 26th minute. If André Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. After 32 played minutes, SC Boialvo's Viriato Esteves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raul Bessa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Boialvo reached it. When Jacinto Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the SC Boialvo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Lopes couldn't finish the play. If André Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Costa during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristiano Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Jacinto Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Boialvo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Bessa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Delfim Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Faria in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Jacinto Lopes made the kick off in the second half. During the 51st minute of the match Abel Monteiro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Abel Monteiro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Gordos FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Abel Monteiro hit a great ball. Raul Bessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Lopes in the 56th minute of play. André Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Bessa having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Jacinto Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Boialvo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Bessa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Vítor Guarda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gordos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to Gordos FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Duarte Coelho hit a great ball. After 67 minutes of play Gordos FC's Cristiano Costa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 68 played minutes Gordos FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Costa. After having played for 78 minutes, Delfim Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gordos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delfim Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When André Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the SC Boialvo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Paredes couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Gordos FC's Delfim Faria got a free kick in the 85th minute. Jorge Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delfim Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. SC Boialvo's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Gordos FC had won, even though SC Boialvo had held more of the ball.
