Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paulo Mendes kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Mendes in the 5th minute of play forced SC Roda's goalkeeper Jaime Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Roda's zone, Paulo Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Valente came out of the goal and Paulo Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Óscar Pinto in the 15th minute of play forced Contins FC's goalkeeper Domingos Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jorge Henriques fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Contins FC's protests and gave Jorge Henriques a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Contins FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 20 minutes, SC Roda's Joaquim Nogueira got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Domingos Nunes. If Alfredo Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, SC Roda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Moniz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 42 minutes, Alfredo Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Roda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Brás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute of the match Cristiano Almeida sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaime Valente skillfully saved the ball.

The wind increased when Óscar Pinto made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Contins FC defense, Óscar Pinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingos Nunes. The Contins FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingos Nunes should have stopped the shot. Contins FC's Domingos Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Brás in the 58th minute of play. If Alfredo Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Henriques hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Óscar Pinto made a precise shot to the right of Domingos Nunes. Contins FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 82 minutes into the match, Contins FC's goal looked a bit too open when Óscar Pinto came free, but Domingos Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jaime Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Jaime Valente made a huge save. 97 minutes into the game, António Tavares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Contins FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Roda the free kick. A collision led to Contins FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. António Tavares hit a great ball. Alfredo Brás struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Domingos Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Roda. Alfredo Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 101st minute. Domingos Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Roda were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Contins FC for a fine match.
