Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Henrique Machado got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Paulo Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. António Amaro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Alexandre Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuvinho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emílio Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Henrique Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the game, Albertino Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vidaes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuvinho FC the free kick. After 15 played minutes Vidaes got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Sousa. In the 20th minute, Henrique Machado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emílio Matos, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Cuvinho FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Bruno Magalhães hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Cuvinho FC's Nuno Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emílio Matos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fábio Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Nunes having to interfere. Bernardo Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Figueiredo in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Figueiredo in the 47th minute of play forced Cuvinho FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Bernardo Nunes made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when António Tavares sent off a good shot on target. Fábio Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexandre Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Emílio Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Tavares couldn't finish the play. Nuno Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Fábio Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
