The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute, Abel Luz made a precise shot to the right of Oliveira Santos. Salir FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvide's goalkeeper Rui Soares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacinto Macedo succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. When David Pinho fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvide's protests and gave David Pinho a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Salir FC defense, Hélder Magalhães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oliveira Santos. The Salir FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oliveira Santos should have stopped the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abel Luz to make the kick off. Diamantino Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Soares having to interfere. Salir FC's Diamantino Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hélder Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bento Moniz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. Bento Moniz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Abel Luz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Oliveira Santos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 76th match minute, Alvide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Assis to maneuver through the defense. Hélder Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Oliveira Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
