Inácio Porto ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Batanada FC's Lourenço Dias got control of the ball when Luís Leite tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Cabral made a kick off. A collision led to Batanada FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jorge Andrade hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Batanada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Leite came free, but Lourenço Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Fernando Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batanada FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 83 minutes, Luís Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espartosa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Leite scored 1-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lourenço Dias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Espartosa FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
