Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bruno Nunes made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute, Joaquim Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tarouca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Bruno Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Moura having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Carrapatas's zone, Joaquim Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Ramos came out of the goal and Joaquim Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Gaspar in the 24th minute of the match. Joaquim Barros struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Eduardo Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarouca. 28 minutes into the game, Joel Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tarouca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carrapatas the free kick. After 28 played minutes Tarouca got a freekick which was hit by Joel Rocha. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruno Nunes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Moura. That made the score 2-1 in the 29 minute of play. Artur Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Moura having to interfere. A collision led to Carrapatas getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Rafael Pinto hit a great ball. Artur Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Pedro Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.
Manuel Gaspar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Eduardo Ramos made a huge save. Artur Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Bruno Nunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Moura. Tarouca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Nunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. 64 minutes into the match, Tarouca's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Nunes came free, but Pedro Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Barros in the 65th minute of play forced Carrapatas's goalkeeper Eduardo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Gaspar in the 67th minute. Manuel Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Eduardo Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Carrapatas's Eduardo Ramos got control of the ball when Manuel Gaspar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiago Paredes lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Eduardo Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Eduardo Ramos made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Manuel Gaspar sent off a good shot on target. Emílio Amaro charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emílio Amaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carrapatas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
