Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Basílio Alves kicked off to start the match. Bruno Nunes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. Carrapatas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. André Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Poutena's zone, Bruno Nunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Pereira came out of the goal and Bruno Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If André Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27thth minute of the game André Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carrapatas's Eduardo Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 32 minutes of play, Carrapatas's Artur Silva made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Pereira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bruno Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 38 minutes into the match, SC Poutena's goalkeeper Francisco Pereira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Silva. If Bruno Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Basílio Alves notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Carrapatas's Eduardo Ramos. Eduardo Ramos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Bruno Nunes made the kick off in the second half. Francisco Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th match minute, SC Poutena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Aleixo to maneuver through the defense. If André Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basílio Alves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eduardo Ramos came out and tried to block the shot, but Basílio Alves slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 69th minute. SC Poutena's Francisco Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Nunes in the 73rd minute of play. A hard shot 82 in the game by André Pinheiro from a close distance when the talented Eduardo Ramos managed to make a qualified save. Carrapatas's players were relieved. André Pinheiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Eduardo Ramos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Artur Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Pereira having to interfere. Francisco Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
