Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Amílcar Gonçalves was a little too slow when Américo Azevedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 16th minute, Miguel Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Redonda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Tinoca booed when Redonda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Redonda's Amílcar Gonçalves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Redonda from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Tinoca's Domingos Porto got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Daniel Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Daniel Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Eusébio Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Assis having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Gabriel Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hélder Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a defensive mix-up in Redonda's zone, Américo Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amílcar Gonçalves came out of the goal and Américo Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 61 minutes, Hélder Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Redonda and the Tinoca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute of the match Rogério Porto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amílcar Gonçalves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. During the 62nd minute of the match Hélder Gomes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hélder Gomes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Redonda's Hélder Gomes got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 65 played minutes Tinoca got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Silva. Américo Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Amílcar Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
