But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Trindade couldn't finish the play. Rafael Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Borba in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Sarabagos booed when SC Courela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Bessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Borba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Rafael Ferro made a huge save. In the 66th minute Miguel Trindade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Ferro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Bessa might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raul Borba scored 2-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Courela were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sarabagos for a fine match.
