Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) GDR Canas Senhorim's Bernardo Garcia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicolau Candal charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolau Candal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd match minute, GDR Canas Senhorim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolau Candal to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, GDR Canas Senhorim's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Guerreiro came free, but Ramiro Rego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, GDR Canas Senhorim's Bernardo Garcia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a little luck, Mortagua's Cândido Andrade got control of the ball when Rubim Campos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cândido Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubim Campos in the 18th minute of the match. Cândido Andrade made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Bernardo Garcia sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, GDR Canas Senhorim's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Pinho came free, but Ramiro Rego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Garcia in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cândido Andrade saved Mortagua from getting behind. Rubim Campos in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cândido Andrade, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. GDR Canas Senhorim's Bernardo Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Rafael Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubim Campos struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Cândido Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GDR Canas Senhorim. In the 32nd minute Delfim Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Rego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Garcia in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cândido Andrade saved Mortagua from getting behind. Nicolau Candal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Andrade having to interfere. When Nicolau Candal came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the GDR Canas Senhorim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolau Candal couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Sardinha kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Cândido Andrade was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Rubim Campos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rubim Campos really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delfim Pinho was the one to do the kick off. Cândido Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Garcia in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute Delfim Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Rego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rubim Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cândido Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Rafael Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Bernardo Garcia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cândido Andrade showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vladimiro Sesimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Cândido Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rubim Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74thth minute of the game Bernardo Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mortagua's Cândido Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Rafael Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubim Campos in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cândido Andrade saved Mortagua from getting behind. Cândido Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Sardinha, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Rafael Assis hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Alexandre Sardinha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Bernardo Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GDR Canas Senhorim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cândido Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. GDR Canas Senhorim's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
