Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlos Carvalho got the match started through his kick off. Carlos Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Ramos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Faro in the 17th minute of play forced Chousos FC's goalkeeper António Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusébio Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Carvalho in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of SC Coitada booed when Chousos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Chousos FC's Eusébio Ramos threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Carvalho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 27 minutes into the game, Carlos Carvalho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eusébio Ramos. Carlos Carvalho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Augusto Borba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but António Paiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Fernando Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pedro Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the SC Coitada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Gomes couldn't finish the play. Pedro Gomes struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. António Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Coitada. António Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Carlos Carvalho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eusébio Ramos. Carlos Carvalho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Gomes to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Gomes struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. António Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Coitada. After some careless play in the Chousos FC defense, Manuel Faro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of António Paiva. The Chousos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that António Paiva should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the game, Xavier Paredes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Coitada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chousos FC the free kick. A collision led to SC Coitada getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Xavier Paredes hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match Chousos FC got a corner. SC Coitada's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oliveira Assis ran over to the corner to take the kick. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Coitada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oliveira Assis was slow to take the kick. During this time Chousos FC's players had a chance to rest. Oliveira Assis made a great header on Chousos FC's corner, it was just that SC Coitada's Eusébio Ramos managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristiano Barros's late challenge caught a SC Coitada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Barros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Chousos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Barros to maneuver through the defense. António Paiva made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Manuel Faro sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, SC Coitada's Jorge Pedroso got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Coitada's goalkeeper Eusébio Ramos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chousos FC's Marco Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Vale in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusébio Ramos saved SC Coitada from getting behind. Carlos Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, SC Coitada's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Vale came free, but Eusébio Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chousos FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Coitada for a fine match.
