A collision led to SC Coitada getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Lourenço Moniz hit a great ball. Augusto Borba hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Eusébio Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. José Neto struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Eusébio Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Cravaz. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonso Macedo was the one to do the kick off. Cristiano Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Ramos having to interfere. If Cristiano Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes SC Cravaz got a freekick which was hit by José Neto. In the 72nd minute, Hugo Fontes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Cravaz's Paulo Trindade didn't even have to move. Afonso Macedo charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Macedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Coitada booed when SC Cravaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
