Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gil Pires started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Afonso Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Sobrena's Gil Pires slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vítor Cabral. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Afonso Simões struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. José Jesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coroados. Cristiano Faria was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Afonso Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coroados's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Jesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. José Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Faria in the 37th minute of play forced Coroados's goalkeeper Vítor Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Pires in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Sobrena's Gil Pires nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vítor Cabral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Coroados's zone, Cristiano Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Cabral came out of the goal and Cristiano Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 92 played minutes Coroados got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Fonseca. Sobrena's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
