Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Manuel Resende notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Coroados's Vítor Cabral. Vítor Cabral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Manuel Resende came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Padros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Resende couldn't finish the play. Manuel Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Vítor Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Guerreiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Padros's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Simões came free, but Hélder Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Joaquim Lisboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Padros's Augusto Guerreiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vítor Cabral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Manuel Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Cabral having to interfere. When Tomás Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coroados's protests and gave Tomás Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Tomás Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Cabral having to interfere. Miguel Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vítor Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Coroados players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Padros were winning 0-1.
Joaquim Lisboa's late challenge caught a Coroados's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Lisboa helped the player get up and apologised. Coroados's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Augusto Guerreiro scored to the left of an out of position Vítor Cabral, making the score, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Simões in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélder Campos saved Padros from getting behind. Hélder Campos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Simões in the 66th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when Mário Ramos put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Padros fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Alexandre Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match Mariano Machado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vítor Cabral skillfully saved the ball. Joaquim Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Cabral having to interfere. With a little luck, Coroados's Vítor Cabral got control of the ball when Manuel Resende tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 played minutes Padros got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Vaz. After recieving a nice pass, Coroados's Eusébio Neves tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Miguel Pinto struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Hélder Campos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coroados. Padros's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
