Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Augusto Guerreiro started the match with the kick off. When Gil Pires came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Sobrena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Pires couldn't finish the play. After 4 played minutes Padros got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Lisboa. After a defensive mix-up in Sobrena's zone, Manuel Resende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Jesus came out of the goal and Manuel Resende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Sobrena's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Guerreiro came free, but José Jesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Farias short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Hélder Campos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Pires in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélder Campos saved Padros from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Guerreiro in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Jesus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hélder Campos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Pires in the 41st minute of the match. Padros's Hélder Campos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Padros from getting a goal against them. 44 minutes into the match, Gil Pires dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hélder Campos, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gil Pires made a kick off. Hélder Campos came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sobrena's José Cabral. But to his dismay, José Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Padros's Hélder Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Pires in the 55th minute of play. Cristiano Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Hélder Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Jesus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Resende in the 62nd minute. Hélder Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Pires in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Guerreiro in the 69th minute of play forced Sobrena's goalkeeper José Jesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gil Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Guerreiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Jesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Guerreiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Padros's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Pires came free, but Hélder Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Campos having to interfere.
