Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 played minutes FC Portuense got a freekick which was hit by Cesur Necid. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Máximo Avelar sped through Unificação's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eder Unzueta. 64 minutes into the match, Unificação's Aldo Galvão broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cesur Necid kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Cesur Necid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 minutes, Saúl Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unificação and the FC Portuense players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saúl Fonseca was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Unificação's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Unificação made a substitution. Pedro Bragança replaced Saúl Fonseca. Álvaro Infante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cândido Noronha in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artur Quintanilha in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eder Unzueta saved Unificação from getting behind. After some careless play in the FC Portuense defense, Cândido Noronha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Álvaro Infante. The FC Portuense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Álvaro Infante should have stopped the shot. Artur Rocha's late challenge caught a FC Portuense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Unificação was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Rocha to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Unificação could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Portuense throughout the match.
