Witold Bondel hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Olívio Vidigal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Domingos in the 19th minute. FC Strong's Jairo Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Bondel in the 21st minute of play. Máximo Gentil struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Olívio Vidigal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Strong. 28 minutes into the match, os solitarios's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio Correia came free, but Olívio Vidigal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, FC Strong's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Nunes came free, but Jairo Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th match minute, os solitarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Olívio Vidigal made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Amorim in the 47th minute of play forced os solitarios's goalkeeper Olívio Vidigal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Witold Bondel to make the kick off. os solitarios's Witold Bondel got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Witold Bondel in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Freitas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in FC Strong's zone, Aldo Nunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Freitas came out of the goal and Aldo Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Germano Ramos during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of os solitarios booed when FC Strong was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germano Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Domingos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Olívio Vidigal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Witold Bondel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jairo Freitas. Witold Bondel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Domingos in the 73rd minute of play forced os solitarios's goalkeeper Olívio Vidigal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, os solitarios's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Gentil came free, but Olívio Vidigal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 75 minutes, Máximo Gentil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Strong's supporters crossed their fingers, but Máximo Gentil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute of the match Reginaldo Noronha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jairo Freitas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aldo Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Daniel Domingos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olívio Vidigal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in FC Strong's zone, Witold Bondel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
