Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Quintanilha started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, R.M fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gastão Bragança to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Prada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Diegues, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, R.M fc's Salvador Lameiras got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Sebastián Durand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Padilha charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Padilha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Sarge FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of R.M fc:s goal. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, R.M fc's Ismael Honrio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cláudio-André Taffarel. Zacarias Bombardeiro hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Hermano Coimbra came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Sarge FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermano Coimbra couldn't finish the play. In the 21stth minute of the game Humberto Bomba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but R.M fc's Osvaldo Prada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Osvaldo Prada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Bomba's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, R.M fc's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Bomba came free, but Osvaldo Prada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Bomba in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Prada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the R.M fc defense, Humberto Bomba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Prada. The R.M fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Prada should have stopped the shot.

In the 50th match minute, R.M fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Quintanilha to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sarge FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Hermano Coimbra hit a great ball. Humberto Bomba charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Bomba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute, Humberto Bomba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Álvaro Cavaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Bermudez charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Bermudez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to R.M fc getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cristian Bermudez hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Sarge FC's Álvaro Cavaco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Osvaldo Prada. That made the score 1-3 after 68 minutes of play. Osvaldo Prada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermano Coimbra in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, R.M fc's Gastão Bragança got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Sebastián Durand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvaldo Prada having to make a save. Osvaldo Prada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastián Durand in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Sarge FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Quintanilha came free, but Cláudio-André Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in R.M fc's zone, Hermano Coimbra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Prada came out of the goal and Hermano Coimbra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Sarge FC's Hermano Coimbra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Zacarias Bombardeiro hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in R.M fc's zone, Álvaro Cavaco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Prada came out of the goal and Álvaro Cavaco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sarge FC were furious when Carlos Azenha was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Sarge FC's Cláudio-André Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Honrio in the 96th minute of play. Sarge FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
