The CD Nacional fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guilherme Pegado should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Humberto Bomba notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of CD Nacional's Guilherme Pegado. Guilherme Pegado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 35 played minutes CD Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Diego Viana. When Nuno Aveiro fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Nacional's protests and gave Nuno Aveiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes CD Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Aveiro. Zacarias Diegues struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Guilherme Pegado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarge FC. The supporters of Sarge FC booed when CD Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. 康鹰明 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Hermano Coimbra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karlos Bencoiechea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sarge FC's Álvaro Cavaco got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CD Nacional's Guilherme Pegado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Bomba in the 63rd minute of play. Diego Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes CD Nacional got a freekick which was hit by 康鹰明. CD Nacional made a substitution. Sálvio Gois replaced Zeferino Amaro. After a rather tough play, CD Nacional's 康鹰明 got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 80 played minutes CD Nacional got a freekick which was hit by 康鹰明. CD Nacional's Silvestre Regalado got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cláudio-André Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Silvestre Regalado sent off a good shot on target. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sarge FC fully deserved thier win.
