Mauro Castilho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Graça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ChicanaFC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Gervásio Valentim hit a great ball. ChicanaFC's António Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Vasques in the 6th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heitor Fonseca got free with Mauro Castilho in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 10 played minutes São Francisco FC86 got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Madeira. ChicanaFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Micael França in the 13th minute. After taking down the ball on ChicanaFC's corner Micael França fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mauro Castilho quite easily take care of the ball. Mauro Castilho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micael França in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Micael França ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Castilho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Graça got free with Mauro Castilho in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, São Francisco FC86's Mauro Castilho got control of the ball when Heitor Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, São Francisco FC86's goalkeeper Mauro Castilho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heitor Fonseca. The corner led ChicanaFC's Rui Graça to a score. 2-0 in the 37th minute. With a little luck, São Francisco FC86's Mauro Castilho got control of the ball when Heitor Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Micael França kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mauro Castilho. That made the score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. In the 46th minute, Higino Salgueiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo Pinheiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Rui Graça made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Castilho. São Francisco FC86's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The supporters of ChicanaFC booed when São Francisco FC86 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Águas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute of the match Micael França sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauro Castilho skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Pinheiro in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Pimenta saved ChicanaFC from getting behind. São Francisco FC86 were furious when Emílio Águas was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of São Francisco FC86:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ChicanaFC:s goal. São Francisco FC86:s Mauro Castilho showed great skill when he stopped Micael França:s penalty. After 64 minutes of play, ChicanaFC's Higino Salgueiro made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Castilho was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Teodoro Vasques fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Francisco FC86's protests and gave Teodoro Vasques a yellow card for diving instead. Higino Salgueiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mauro Castilho. São Francisco FC86's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mauro Castilho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Graça in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute Rui Graça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Castilho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasco Veloso hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Mauro Castilho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Micael França went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ChicanaFC fully deserved thier win.
