An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Antoine Brillet in the 4th minute of play forced ChicanaFC's goalkeeper António Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walery Hoffman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Jonathan Maia made a huge save. After a rather tough play, ChicanaFC's Higino Salgueiro got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th match minute, ChicanaFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higino Salgueiro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathan De Souza in the 10th minute of play forced ChicanaFC's goalkeeper António Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Micael França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lince FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Norberto Travassos hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Lince FC's goal looked a bit too open when Walery Hoffman came free, but Jonathan Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, ChicanaFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nathan De Souza came free, but António Pimenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Walery Hoffman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lince FC's Jonathan Maia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Lince FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Lince FC's Nathan De Souza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 27th minute, Pierre-Antoine Brillet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lince FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Walery Hoffman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jonathan Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pedro Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the ChicanaFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Paiva couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walery Hoffman in the 39th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Horaţiu Cismaș put in a rough tackle. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lince FC!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walery Hoffman to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Lince FC defense, Walery Hoffman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Maia. The Lince FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Maia should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higino Salgueiro during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lince FC booed when ChicanaFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higino Salgueiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Pierre-Antoine Brillet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lince FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierre-Antoine Brillet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Pimenta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walery Hoffman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
