Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ernst Günther got the match started through his kick off. When Marialva S.C.'s Pablo Sarabia in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ladroeira FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 3 minutes, Pablo Sarabia made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ladroeira FC's Fotis Seftelis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ladroeira FC's Alexandre Macedo in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marialva S.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Marialva S.C.'s zone, Emrah Ertüze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Tinoco came out of the goal and Emrah Ertüze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th match minute, Marialva S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. Cristóvão Patrício recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandre Macedo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Fernando Tinoco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ladroeira FC. Fernando Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Reginaldo Cordeiro hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Fotis Seftelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Günther, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emrah Ertüze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Fernando Tinoco made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Emrah Ertüze managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ladroeira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emrah Ertüze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ladroeira FC booed when Marialva S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Marialva S.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emrah Ertüze to make the kick off. Alexandre Macedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Tinoco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Ladroeira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Sarabia came free, but Fotis Seftelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marialva S.C.'s Manuel Ruas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fotis Seftelis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gică Drumeș in the 71st minute. The supporters of Marialva S.C. booed when Ladroeira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksey Erastov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emrah Ertüze, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Ladroeira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Ruas came free, but Fotis Seftelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Emrah Ertüze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladroeira FC's Emrah Ertüze got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emrah Ertüze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 minutes, Reginaldo Cordeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marialva S.C. and the Ladroeira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marialva S.C.'s Fernando Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emrah Ertüze in the 97th minute of play. Marialva S.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
