After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Leonardo Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C. Canidelense's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valério Menezes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inácio Cunha hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, A.D.E.Penamacorense's Cristiano Viegas got a free kick in the 7th minute. A collision led to S.C. Canidelense getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Zhivko Shpatov hit a great ball. Valério Menezes was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Leonardo Severo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonardo Severo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, S.C. Canidelense's Leonardo Severo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valério Menezes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Leonardo Severo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valério Menezes, 3-0. After a rather tough play, S.C. Canidelense's Zhivko Shpatov got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Cristiano Viegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Tate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.D.E.Penamacorense were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after S.C. Canidelense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Aires took the corner. A.D.E.Penamacorense's José Aires was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kent Tate in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 28th minute, Leonardo Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. S.C. Canidelense's José Blanchart got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inácio Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Sílvio Amaro hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When Leonardo Severo came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the S.C. Canidelense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Severo couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Viegas to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Kent Tate managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when A.D.E.Penamacorense's Paco Nass fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, S.C. Canidelense's Kent Tate got control of the ball when Yanaki Kalúpchiev tried to sneak it across the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Karhan Siralp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valério Menezes. A.D.E.Penamacorense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karhan Siralp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. When Juvenal Vasques fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.D.E.Penamacorense's protests and gave Juvenal Vasques a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, A.D.E.Penamacorense's Juvenal Vasques got a free kick in the 64th minute. S.C. Canidelense's Kent Tate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Torres in the 67th minute of play. Cristiano Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Tate having to interfere. S.C. Canidelense's Karhan Siralp got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that José Blanchart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valério Menezes was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After 80 minutes of play, S.C. Canidelense's Karhan Siralp made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valério Menezes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karhan Siralp took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valério Menezes. Valério Menezes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 89 minutes into the game, S.C. Canidelense's Leonardo Severo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valério Menezes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. After 92 played minutes S.C. Canidelense got a freekick which was hit by Albert Prunet. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. S.C. Canidelense fully deserved thier win.
