José Blanchart received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sérgio Viegas came out and tried to block the shot, but José Blanchart slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 80th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Sport Açores e Benfica's goalkeeper Sérgio Viegas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Severo. In the 85th minute Karhan Siralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Viegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Jacob Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
