Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Kevin Omanukwue hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Amauchechukwu Shagaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester ace's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amauchechukwu Shagaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ajay Adetutu had great luck who in the 8thth minute grab hold of the ball when Akabueze Dickson from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Tasiu Onwuzuruike made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amauchechukwu Shagaya in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amauchechukwu Shagaya in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tasiu Onwuzuruike prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 minutes, Nkadi Abamba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester ace and the Margate players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Manchester ace was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nkadi Abamba to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Adolphus Enebechi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Manchester ace's Ajay Adetutu. Ajay Adetutu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Odebunmi Adekanmbi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tasiu Onwuzuruike. Margate's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 32 played minutes Margate got a freekick which was hit by Akabueze Dickson. 34 minutes into the match, Manchester ace's goal looked a bit too open when Adolphus Enebechi came free, but Ajay Adetutu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ajay Adetutu was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Ozoemena Etete capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ozoemena Etete really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. If Ozoemena Etete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ozoemena Etete was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. Tasiu Onwuzuruike breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raymond Akiti to strike the kick off in the second half. Amauchechukwu Shagaya scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tasiu Onwuzuruike, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amauchechukwu Shagaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Margate's Bosun Ochiagha got a free kick in the 61st minute. Amauchechukwu Shagaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tasiu Onwuzuruike having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauchechukwu Shagaya in the 92nd minute of play forced Margate's goalkeeper Tasiu Onwuzuruike to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Udegbulam Tabiowo fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester ace's protests and gave Udegbulam Tabiowo a yellow card for diving instead.
