Othmane Akachar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Idus El Khattabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Winitran El Khalej had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Safi Rachad's Winitran El Khalej got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ameqran El Ahmadi kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A hard shot by Bukkus Bouhaja from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Fouad Talhaoui's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Idus El Khattabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Othmane Akachar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Azerwal Tahiri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Berkane getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ameqran El Ahmadi hit a great ball. Fouad Talhaoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Winitran El Khalej, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Othmane Akachar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azerwal Tahiri in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After 53 played minutes Berkane got a freekick which was hit by Murad Tahiri. Thanks to some nice moves Azerwal Tahiri could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Othmane Akachar however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Safi Rachad defense, Azerwal Tahiri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Othmane Akachar. The Safi Rachad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Othmane Akachar should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Berkane getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Izil Ben Chrifa hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Safi Rachad's Youmni Abdessadki got a free kick in the 71st minute. Safi Rachad's Othmane Akachar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idus El Khattabi in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youmni Abdessadki in the 76th minute of play forced Berkane's goalkeeper Fouad Talhaoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berkane's Fouad Talhaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youmni Abdessadki in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Safi Rachad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asulil Chadli to maneuver through the defense. Fouad Talhaoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Winitran El Khalej in the 84th minute of play. If Winitran El Khalej had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Safi Rachad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mass Sarsar to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Safi Rachad's goalkeeper Othmane Akachar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Berkane players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Safi Rachad.
