Oakham's Rick Corby got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Travis Gough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zak Davison was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Travis Gough showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 76 minute of play. After 86 played minutes Travis Gough rounded Leyland's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5.
