Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eddy Carlick kicked off to start the match. Eddy Carlick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eddy Carlick kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Jools Clarkson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Campbell having to interfere. If Romeo Pearch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darren Ash received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jacob Clapham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Flamengo's Adam Renwick got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Eddy Carlick 's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steven Campbell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Romeo Pearch received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacob Clapham came out and tried to block the shot, but Romeo Pearch slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 66th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Flamengo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bedford:s goal. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Bedford. Sly Sissons stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Steven Campbell. 1-1. Steven Campbell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Close in the 83rd minute of play. With a little luck, Bedford's Jacob Clapham got control of the ball when Darren Ash tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Pearch in the 89th minute of play forced Bedford's goalkeeper Jacob Clapham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steven Campbell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Close, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Steven Campbell came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Bedford's Brian Close. But to his dismay, Brian Close quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Bedford's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
