Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kenneth Dalton started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Bateson in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Austen Burnett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Kelvin Kindness came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Avebury AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kelvin Kindness couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Dalton in the 8th minute of play forced Ince's goalkeeper Phil Lightfoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis Golding hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Avebury AFC's Kenneth Dalton was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 12th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenneth Dalton in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Phil Lightfoot saved Ince from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Martyn Broadhead hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Ince's goalkeeper Phil Lightfoot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kelvin Kindness. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brendon Gilchrist in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Kelvin Kindness could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Phil Lightfoot made a huge save. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ince's goalkeeper Phil Lightfoot , but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28thth minute of the game Kenneth Dalton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ince's Phil Lightfoot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kelvin Kindness got free with Phil Lightfoot in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Austen Burnett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Ballantine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kelvin Kindness who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Phil Lightfoot when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kelvin Kindness fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phil Lightfoot having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Albert Wilmott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Dalton in the 43rd minute of play forced Ince's goalkeeper Phil Lightfoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes in the game, Kelvin Kindness fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Phil Lightfoot having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brendon Gilchrist to strike the kick off in the second half. When Avebury AFC's Kelvin Kindness in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ince's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57thth minute of the game Kenneth Dalton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ince's Phil Lightfoot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Brendon Gilchrist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avebury AFC's Austen Burnett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Kelvin Kindness had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kelvin Kindness fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phil Lightfoot having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Martin Bateson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Avebury AFC's Austen Burnett. Austen Burnett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Dalton in the 73rd minute of play forced Ince's goalkeeper Phil Lightfoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Kenneth Dalton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phil Lightfoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Martin Bateson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phil Lightfoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenneth Dalton, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ince's zone, Kelvin Kindness stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phil Lightfoot came out of the goal and Kelvin Kindness tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Avebury AFC's Kelvin Kindness in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ince's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Avebury AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ince had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
