Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Micheal Moss took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Camberwell United's goalkeeper Brynn Laycock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Spacey. In the 8th match minute, Camberwell United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Pearce to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Ricky Lockwood sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Brynn Laycock threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Ricky Lockwood this time. Brynn Laycock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grant Button in the 13th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Corby's Brynn Laycock threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Grant Button, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Micheal Moss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ricky Lockwood fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corby's protests and gave Ricky Lockwood a yellow card for diving instead. Ricky Lockwood hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Corby's zone, Micheal Moss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dave Gardner came out of the goal and Micheal Moss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Corby's Grant Button dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 34th match minute, Corby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Al Baum to maneuver through the defense. Micheal Moss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Gardner having to interfere. Micheal Moss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grant Button to make the kick off. Ruben Upson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 62nd playminute. Ruben Upson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dave Gardner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Micheal Moss, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Camberwell United's Ruben Upson got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Corby's George Spacey in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Camberwell United's goalie prevented a goal. David Pearce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Gardner having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Micheal Moss recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dave Gardner. Micheal Moss showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Micheal Moss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dave Gardner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruben Upson in the 96th minute. When the match was over Camberwell United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Corby throughout the match.
