Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Greg Reddington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Jewson in the 5th minute of the match. Austin Trueman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nigel Hill having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Austin Trueman made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Garstang AFC's Nigel Hill tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nigel Hill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austin Trueman in the 22nd minute of play. Jimmy Stiles hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Garstang AFC's Florencio Maureo got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee gave Taverham AF a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Austin Parrott, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Garstang AFC's Nigel Hill. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bob Garforth during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Bob Garforth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Taverham AF's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Jewson came free, but Greg Reddington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Austin Trueman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nigel Hill having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kris Jewson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Taverham AF's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Spione came free, but Greg Reddington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Austin Trueman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Nigel Hill was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kris Jewsons short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Greg Reddington to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Garstang AFC booed when Taverham AF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bob Garforth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Greg Reddington made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Kris Jewson sent off a good shot on target. Remigiusz Purzycki hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Garstang AFC's zone, Austin Trueman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nigel Hill came out of the goal and Austin Trueman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Garstang AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Remigiusz Purzycki hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Taverham AF's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Jewson came free, but Greg Reddington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Kenny Wicks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Vedat Kabataş struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Greg Reddington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garstang AFC. Kris Jewson took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Greg Reddington. Greg Reddington dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Garstang AFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Taverham AF had won, even though Garstang AFC had held more of the ball.
