Gil Caffey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Hickey McCollion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Donell Prunty made a precise shot to the right of Hickey McCollion. Kiltulla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Gil Caffey put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Hickey McCollion. 18 minutes into the game, Donell Prunty cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Hickey McCollion was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hickey McCollion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peadar McAlphie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Ballytrasna's goalkeeper Brenna Sheridan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nollaig McDonald. If Gil Caffey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Ballytrasna's Donell Prunty nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hickey McCollion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Donell Prunty scored 0-6 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hickey McCollion, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gil Caffey scored 0-7 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hickey McCollion, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Kiltulla's Boynton Dimson got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Gil Caffey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hickey McCollion. That made the score 0-10 in the 66 minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Donell Prunty notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Kiltulla's Hickey McCollion. Hickey McCollion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Donell Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Donell Prunty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Gil Caffey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boyne Taylor kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Ballytrasna's Blair Martyn couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kiltulla. Hickey McCollion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peadar McAlphie, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Caffey in the 89th minute of play forced Kiltulla's goalkeeper Hickey McCollion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ballytrasna's Donell Prunty got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ultan Cooney hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Brenna Sheridan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nollaig McDonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Kiltulla fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ballytrasna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
