With a little luck, Maurs's Petran McBrandon got control of the ball when Bercan Lavine tried to sneak it across the goal line. Skeahanagh's Patraic McAlphie got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Braydon MaCollin fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maurs's protests and gave Braydon MaCollin a yellow card for diving instead. Braydon MaCollin kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maurs's goalkeeper Petran McBrandon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bercan Lavine in the 96th minute of play forced Maurs's goalkeeper Petran McBrandon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Skeahanagh's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
