The supporters of Kiltulla booed when Skeahanagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donal Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Kiltulla's Tady Gough tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The shot was stopped by Gealan Willson but with some difficulty. Patraic McAlphie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd match minute, Kiltulla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gearroid Cronin to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kiltulla's goalkeeper Hickey McCollion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Blayne McGlenn scored 1-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gealan Willson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Nollaig McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bercan Lavine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hickey McCollion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Skeahanagh's Bercan Lavine in 70 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Hickey McCollion guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Bercan Lavine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Hickey McCollion made a huge save. Gearroid Cronin kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Bercan Lavine got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Nollaig McDonald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiltulla's supporters rose to their feet, but Nollaig McDonald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gealan Willson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donal Crowe kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Blayne McGlenn took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gealan Willson. Gealan Willson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Kiltulla's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
