The Kildoon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Hickey Gough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bree Gallagher, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 35th minute, Keeghan MaCollin made a precise shot to the right of Hickey Gough. Kildoon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 40 played minutes Kildoon got a freekick which was hit by Shey Tierney. After some careless play in the Kildoon defense, Bergin McPeter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hickey Gough. The Kildoon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hickey Gough should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brenna Moran was the one to do the kick off. Shey Tierney's late challenge caught a Corrandulla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shey Tierney helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Kildoon got a freekick which was hit by Shey Tierney. Lorcan Barrett kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Corrandulla getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Timothy Robinson hit a great ball. After 62 played minutes Corrandulla got a freekick which was hit by Timothy Robinson. After a defensive mix-up in Corrandulla's zone, Brenna Moran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brennan McGlenn came out of the goal and Brenna Moran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brennan McGlenn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brenna Moran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brenna Moran took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brennan McGlenn. Brennan McGlenn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corrandulla's goalkeeper Brennan McGlenn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Kildoon's goalkeeper Hickey Gough had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conan McNamee. 95 minutes into the match, Kildoon's goal looked a bit too open when Bergin McPeter came free, but Hickey Gough reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
