Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leon Caffey started the match with the kick off. In the 5th match minute, Coolbanagher was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felim Gallagher to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Coolbanagher's goalkeeper Iarla McDonald had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Caffey. After 13 minutes, Gerald Kirby made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Derryclure FC's Blathma John tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Blathma John showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Duggan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Iarla McDonald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Caffey in the 19th minute of the match. Leon Caffey's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Iarla McDonald skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Blathma John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Duggan in the 33rd minute of the match. Leon Caffey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iarla McDonald having to interfere. Leon Caffey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Coolbanagher's zone, Leon Caffey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iarla McDonald came out of the goal and Leon Caffey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 46 in the game by Leon Caffey from a close distance when the talented Iarla McDonald managed to make a qualified save. Coolbanagher's players were relieved. The Derryclure FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Coolbanagher were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aron Duggan to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Coolbanagher's Gerald Kirby made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blathma John was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ryley Gollogley kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Iarla McDonald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Caffey, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The supporters of Coolbanagher booed when Derryclure FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baptist Brennan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Aron Duggan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blathma John saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blathma John took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Duggan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iarla McDonald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Caffey in the 87th minute of play. Felim Gallagher made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gerald Kirby. A collision led to Coolbanagher getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Aron Duggan hit a great ball.
