Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tirloch Moran took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Coolbanagher's Aron Duggan in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dublin AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Coolbanagher's Aron Duggan got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Aron Duggan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denny McWill was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Denny McWill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Duggan in the 15th minute of play. Denny McWill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerald Kirby, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 22 minutes of play, Coolbanagher's Gerald Kirby made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denny McWill was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donoghue McWilliam, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tirloch Moran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Iarla McDonald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Aron Duggan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coolbanagher's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aron Duggan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aron Duggan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Gerald Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denny McWill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bannon Ryan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aron Duggan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Denny McWill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerald Kirby in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denny McWill saved Dublin AFC from getting behind. After the first half Coolbanagher were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aron Duggan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Denny McWill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerald Kirby in the 51st minute of the match. Gerald Kirby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Denny McWill made a huge save. Gerald Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bannon Ryan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Denny McWill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Aron Duggan put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Denny McWill. Denny McWill stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aron Duggan's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Duggan in the 71st minute of play forced Dublin AFC's goalkeeper Denny McWill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aron Duggan in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denny McWill prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 75 minutes into the match, Bannon Ryan notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Dublin AFC's Denny McWill. Denny McWill was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerald Kirby struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Denny McWill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coolbanagher. The supporters of Coolbanagher booed when Dublin AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Branson McMichel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brak Cronin during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute, Brak Cronin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
